I am really excited that we have elected our first African American President. I wished that Sen. Obama was given the Presidency on 3rd November (Enabling him to be beside his grandmother in Hawaii) and we could have Sen. McCain as the Honorary President.
Though I really admire President elect Obama's message of Hope, Change and Believe. I think to bring the real change we need to change ourselves first. When we win and make history it is typical human nature to inherit ego and an elevated self pride and prejudice. To bring real change to Washington DC and the world, we need to first look at our own self and prove to the 46% American people that didn't vote for us that we symbolize real change as we are transformed human beings.
I would suggest Hon. President elect Obama to sacrifice White House to Sen. McCain for two years. It was very hard for me to vote for Sen. Obama after I heard Sen. McCain in Saturday Night Live when he jokingly said that he has the last chance to be the President and he is like our grandfather. This could symbolize two things, first President-elect Obama truly believes in Servant Leadership and what he had said, "It is NOT about ME...It is about U" he truly believes in. The second thing is that he had forgiven Sen. McCain and really respects him enough to give him the last chance in his life to live in the White House and act as our Honorary President. I always believed in Leading by Example...Then he can ask American People to sacrifice for our Country. I am deeply saddened, that President elect Obama could not win Southern States and even some of the states he won, many people actually perceive him as a terrorist or security threat.
This sacrifice would create a new era in democracy. I am not saying that we won't or should not have ideological differences. But solidarity in diversity and through diversity alone we can get the real solution to some of the biggest problems facing our country today.
I strongly believe that to the same destination there are and could be many ways. In short I sincerely think that either you are to the left, right or center, we can achieve the same destination. I want a healthy competition of ideologies more like a football game whereby we don't have this game in two years or four years at election time, but throughout the year. I challenge President elect Obama and Gov Palin and every member of their respective parties to prove that their ideology by rebuilding America.
I will continue to pray God that President elect Obama could convince his wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia that they have not earned their puppy to take to the white house. Sasha and Malia have to make friends with a white boy and a white girl living in an all republican rural town in Georgia and ask them for their puppy to take to the White House.
Yes...I am delusional Just a Dream... Impossible... This is the change I want to believe..
