Nowhere in Africa can one find the highest concentration of safari attractions as that found in Uganda. I know it is hard for you to believe it, but after traveling in many places and parts of Africa, now I have accepted that really Uganda is the "Pearl of Africa".
Uganda has more than 10 national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. Any wildlife of any kind you may think of is in Uganda. For those who enjoys birding vacations, Uganda must be a God given bird habitat because it is on record that more than 1000 bird species are found in Uganda and more than half of these birds are indigenous which means that they are found nowhere apart from Uganda. As charismas and end of year holidays are at the corner every one is thinking about where to take the end of the year vacation and how to enjoy this Christmas season. Welcome to sunny Uganda where you can sunbathe from January to January and enjoy your safari attractions variety!
Uganda has a lot to offer both visitors from overseas and locals from cultural performances to food, wildlife, fashion and sightseeing. Uganda is world renowned for its gorillas, Idi Amin,s reign of terror and natural assets which include the national parks, Rwenzori Mountains, wildlife sanctuaries and more recently, oil.
WHERE IS UGANDA FOUND
Well, it is a bit hard to describe the country in geographic terms. Just know that the county is actually a state of many rivers, group of islands in Lake Victoria, lakes, and mountains .It is located just at the centre of second biggest continent of Africa and thus called a landlocked country. There are many exciting activities available to you throughout the whole country. For example on river Nile alone which has its source in Uganda, there is kayaking, bungee jumping, and white water rafting plus sport fishing. In fact, this is one of the reasons why visiting and traveling in Uganda is so popular among visiting tourists to Africa.
As long as you are on Ugandan soil, it does not matter who or what you are, the country always have something to offer for everyone. Gone are the days when Uganda was known for coups and counter coups. But with the coming of Museveni as the president of this country in 1986, everything changed and now the country is counted among the most secure places to visit
Besides fun, action and socializing, Uganda also offers you a chance to get closer to nature. It offers several ecotourism where a guide takes you into the deepest rainforest reservoir and national parks where you can experience first hand some of the rarest and oldest species of flora and fauna found nowhere on earth.
