The internet will go down in history as being the medium which enabled people transfer information between each other and in the process made the world a whole lot smaller. Without any doubt, the best and brightest business people that have emerged in the lasso's decade have harnessed and used the power of the internet to their benefit. In essence, they have globalized their business, not just operating in a local market as they once were.

All you would need for your business to be profitable would be 0.0001 % sales from whatever number views your product. Anyway, this is the most common way, people are making it online. Get a product, learn about internet marketing, develop a website and away you go. Look at the thousands of people who do this on e-bay and there is many a success story there. More power to them. Anyway as I said earlier, this is only one way.

Marketers are also making a killing, marketing other people's goods. For example look at "ClickBank". This database is full of other people's products. If Affiliates sell these products, both they and the owner of the products earn a commission. This is really a very quick way for marketers to get into business as ClickBank supplies you with websites, stats, and tracking burl's to get you marketing straight away. It's like anything online, the more traffic you get to these urls, the more income you will earn. This is another way, sell other peoples products or else, produce your own and use the power of ClickBank and its massive arm of affiliates to flog it.

Third and most popular method to make it on the net is mom or network marketing. Huge potential here as again, the internet has made it easier than ever to develop relationships, not just in your local area but all over the world. Marketers are now developing really quick downline, way quicker than the old days when people were setting up local meetings in different cities. All of this is gone by the way side with 3 way calls and e-mail. That said, there is a huge amount STILL of mom scams online so do your homework before joining any mom company. The main advantage of this option over the other two is that you can earn residual income which will come thru the post month after month due to the efforts of your downline. The other 2, you can't have this but you will probably earn more on the front end (in a short period). This is why I try to concentrate on promoting a residual income opportunity, money that will come into to me month after month.
