During the past few years, many new ways have been created in order to facilitate your payment of loans and paying off credit card debts. New methods to get out of debt are created all the time, because the most common methods sometimes worsen your situation. But don't despair, because I will show you some new creative ways to deal with paying off your debts.

Online Community and Groups

The first way is to join an online community or group which can be beneficial because you are connecting with like minded people. Most individuals still carry guilt and embarrassment when they are in debt, and feel too ashamed to disclose the huge amounts of debts they have accumulated. They would certainly like to receive help from people who have knowledge of getting in and out of debt. Online communities have two aspects; camaraderie and accountability. The first one encourages participation that you can get which include tips, advice and encouragement when you are feeling very blue. The latter one ensures that you have people to report your progress to even when supporting other members. Other tools can also help you monitor how much debt is still left to pay. The best part online communities are that you can remain fairly anonymous even though you are truly participating.

Minimize Your Services

A good way pay off your debt is to cut down on expenses. An example would be your cell phone plan. If you cut your cell phone plan, or maybe drop down to a cheaper plan, you can actually save money. Sometimes by contacting your cell phone provider and explaining your situation can probably help you because they can make special arrangements with you. But, if you can't bear to break away from your cell phone, maybe you can get rid of your land line. So many people I know these days have land lines at their homes, but rarely use them. So by doing one or other can definitely help put some money in your pocket and help you pay off your debt.

Keep a Daily Account

Another way is keeping a journal of your debt payments. This way you will be able to keep a record of how well you are doing with your overall debt payments. Another use of keeping a journal is that you can actually provide a direct picture to what you have to do, and how you have to do it. It is indeed true when people say that debt not only exhaust an individual financially but also emotionally and mentally. A journal will definitely ease your mind, and let you plan accordingly and make you feel better because you will be paying off your debt, and writing about it.

Old School Method

This old school method for paying off debt is called Envelope budgeting. Envelope Budgeting has shown proof to be a very reliable method for budgeting your spending patterns. This type of budgeting was used by families years ago (before the technology age), so they could keep track of every dollar they spent. This method will not only categorize your patterns but also give you more control over your cash flow. Keeping your money in one place and spending it without keeping track of how much you have already spent on a particular budget item will cost you. In the end you will realize that you actually spent more money than you actually should have. Envelope budgeting also enables a person to see whether he or she can make up for a budget item that is currently in deficit.

By using these suggestions stated above, it can move you towards paying off your debt and becoming debt-free. However, there are three things that are required when you are adhering to these things, and that is continued learning, pure will power, and consistency. If you continue doing these things, you will surely have success paying off your credit card debt and moving towards a better debt free future.
