How many people do you think have a business on the Internet? The answer is millions (maybe billions) and the question you have to ask is how successful are all those businesses? On the Internet you will read that over 90% of businesses online fail! On the other side of the coin there are some people on the Net making hundreds of millions every year so what separates them from the failures? How can average people launch a business online without draining their bank accounts using pay per click and other adverts?
The answer is by franchising. Tap in to a successful system that is already working, apply all the techniques, work hard and reap the rewards. There are many obvious examples to support this argument - look at McDonalds for example. The key that most people miss is the hard work part because, unless you fall into a dream untapped niche, you will have to work hard to distinguish yourself from others on the Net.
Through the power of the Internet any person can own an online home-based business because it requires less capital investment and so many people think that they can easily make a fortune out of it. But you see, even an online business requires careful thought and consideration. You have to exert a lot of effort and time to make it a success.
The first thing you should do is to work out what you would be happy doing, take some time trawling through the opportunities, ask yourself if you would be proud to work with each of the opportunities. Think about it - would you be able to hold your head up in front of your closest friend s and tell them that you are now working with XYZ Company?
Once you have decided on the opportunity then stop messing around, jump right in, and start working it! Here are a few tips I found helpful when I started and, hopefully, they will help you:
1. Take ALL the help you can. The Internet is a rapidly changing landscape and techniques that work today won't next week so make sure you get loads of help.
2. Make sure that the opportunity you go with gives you a load of support and training. Many opportunities take your money and then expect you to get on with it with reference to a few ebooks and a manual. If you join the right opportunity they will have training and support networks already set up that you can tap into.
3. Network with other people on the Net.
4. Carry on learning - business on the Net is all about knowledge and, to keep ahead, you have to know more than the next person
5. Work hard.
6. Exceed expectations - do more than your customer or down line expect and this will pay dividends
7. Keep trying new stuff - the Internet is the New Klondike and has plenty of untapped potential, remember this, if you keep doing the same things you will only get more of the same results.
8. Remember point five
Above all remember this - if anything is worth doing then you might as well EXCEL at it. The Internet has put new opportunities within reach of everyone who can use a computer therefore NEVER accept that this will be easy. Competition will be fierce and plentiful therefore increase your chances by joining the best opportunity and then WORK it.
