When we are young, we sometimes forget things as a part of normal, daily busy life. But with age, this happens more frequently. However, there is no need to worry about this natural phenomenon; as it is a very natural part of the aging process for the human being. It is somewhat understandable and normal, though may cause occasional problems, for older people to do things like leave doors open, forget to turn TV's or stoves off, or forget to pay bills.

Those who are experiencing the various memory problems, long-term memory adulthood may still be vivid, even as far as short term memory is faltering. So the, memory loss is usually diagnosed by a severe loss in short-term memory, but as this is the kind of memory usually affected in normally old age. But many memory problems develop and progress as gradually over the time. So many of the women start experiencing the memory loss during the menopause, however, one can not notice the symptoms until later it arises. So as memory loss progresses with the time, in the meantime you may want to take steps to lesson it as much as possible for you, by the natural way.

If the memory problem becomes very worse, then this might indicate Alzheimer's disease. And with Alzheimer's disease, the normal daily activities such as eating and washing may not be able to be performed these activities independently. Some slighter memory problems, like "his name is just on the tip of my tongue, let me think about it" phenomenon, do not really affect the daily life much more. Some memory problems can be caused by Parkinson's disease, or large and small strokes, may be due to depression, and many medical problems such as the thyroid disease.

Always alert for any sign of short-term memory decline. Like forgetting your plan, for forgetting what you just did are often such various signs. Consider if you are experiencing symptoms like these, then you need to go and see a doctor, to evaluate your memory changes and possibly get a proper treatment. What's more, you should take extra nutrients to enhance your immune system, such as vitamins, herbs and supplements.
