Asthma is a respiratory disorder icreasingly on the rise today. Being an inflammation of the airways in a human body, asthma is associated with difficulty in breathing. This can usually be inverted with treatment and over time, but for anyone who suffers from asthma the illness can be a traumatic, and sometimes painful, experience. Asthma can be sparked by irritants in the atmosphere or environment around you and asthma is in a direct relationship with the excessive amounts of pollutants we get exposed to every day. What can be considered some symptoms asthma has?

The signs or symptoms asthma shows can vary from one individual to another. Some of the most familiar symptoms asthma can show include shortness of breath, especially in the nights and after exercise, wheezing, chest tightness and coughing that could be long-lasting and may come about after exposure to cold, dry air or exercise. These symptoms asthma bring forth cannot be ignored or neglected. They can happen in a order of inclemency, and the asthma classification happens according to the severity shown by people.

Another big problem is that the symptoms asthma show can easily be confused for symptoms of heart ailments or other respiratory illnesses. Because of this it is important to diagnose the root cause of the symptoms as early as possible, in order to know what exactly the illness is. Asthma can be an illness that presents itself at childhood or adulthood, where the childhood onset of asthma is more easily treated than asthma caused in adulthood.

As the symptoms asthma show, the sole issue that is stimulated in asthma is the inflammation of the air pathways in our bodies which cause so much irritation. Children suffering from asthma are therefore, warned against exercising and consuming certain types of foods as other children do. Bad enough environmental allergens plays up, food allergens too contribute to asthma attacks. According to research 80% of children and 50% of adults suffering from asthma also have some kind of allergy or the other.
