Which road do I have to take to rear a good child?
The arrival of a baby can be an overwhelming task. The arrival of a baby is just the starting preparations involved in raising a child, as we all know that parenting is actually a life long commitment.

The process of being a new parent.
To be able to assist your child in learning how to properly cope up with life and how to face its vicissitudes, you should allow your parenting skills to kick in and let it guide you on the right path.

Here are the processes that you should know to become skilled in parenting.
Not all parenting information can be processed instantly by our brains in a day. Parenting will require a lifetime of endless learning, rejoicing and even suffering before you are successful. What's important to keep in mind is that you should never give up on parenting. As long as you are open minded when it comes to parenting, you have guaranteed that you have won the parenting race already.

Parenting is a never-ending job.
Any money that this world can offer cannot buy a child's laughter, kisses and meaningful hugs. Parenting a child takes a lifetime. Parenting is nothing but a continuous process. Just because now that your child is taller than you doesn't mean
that they are more matured and ready for anything that this world can offer them. For a parent, their children are the ones who bring delightful joy in their lives, and though sometimes it is unavoidable that they too can bring tragic sorrows.

Teach your kids self-reliance
A child's independence is a important part for them to learn on how to earn what they want and be empowered to make their own true happiness. You may still believe that by giving your child things that they want is pleasurable. By giving acceptance, abundant love and affection to your child, they tend to be kinder, charitable and best of all responsible as opposed to those whose parents acceded to their every whims and materialistic demands. ) would make them have fond childhood memories or in a way heal your own emotional wounds by giving your children all of these materialistic things, you are interfering with your child's development unconsciously.

Get more compliance from your child.
Basically, a defiant child will readily pull you in a power struggle which will actually wear you down. If the situation is for a frustrated child, you can then say, "I know that you are irritated right now since you having a hard time finishing building your Lego tower, even I understand that it is hard to leaving your Lego tower unfinished", which will help to gain more cooperation from your child. Instead you could put it this way, "Would you do your chore/s before or after school today?", in order to gain cooperation from your child.

Common child and parent problems.
Do not let fear overcome you, the joyful experience that a child can bring to their parents is enough to pay for all the hardships that you will endure in rearing a good child. Do you attend parent evenings (PTA's)? A child may not always mention this meeting so you should be an active parent within the child's school. Your child will begin to revolt about attending school in ordinary school shoes, they might be asking for designer gear like those "other kids" and parents tell their kids not to feel jealous or even inferior.

Make memories with quality family time.
All that you should is change the way that you think, this can be achieved with simple steps with just a bit of planning and forethought. The following tips ensure that your family time will be stress free and will ensure that you will make your family memories last for a lifetime:

  • Remember that having pleasant dinner talks is one of the most effective and simplest way to create family bonds/ties and this will truly make your memories last you for a lifetime. Be sure to maintain a pleasant conversation at dinnertime as well as having inspirational and upbeat conversations too. If dinnertime conversations are not pleasant, your family members will not even remember these times spent together as a family and in turn family dinners this will easily be just an activity that they don't want to participate in. If your family does not want to participate in family dinner due to unpleasant conversation, that is certainly counterproductive of quality family time.
  • Try to set at least an hour or two aside with your family, before your next scheduled activity.
