Millions of people around the world logs on to the net every single day. Why? To check emails, play games, read news, research on projects, chat with friends and so on. Well, these activities can at most last you 5hrs on average per day, excluding those hardcore gamers. So, why not use this time to start your own business instead of idling around and doing nothing after you finished all your stuffs online?
You might be thinking what type of business allows you to start within such a short period of time and maintain it using a few hours of your free time every day. Stop wondering now for I'm going to introduce to you the best business you will ever come across! One business that requires little capital and time to set up!
The business idea that I'm going to introduce is "Internet marketing" (IM)! Yeah, I know most of you here have some knowledge on Internet marketing. But, have you started to put your knowledge into good use? I guess not, right?
Quoting from Wikipedia, IM is the marketing of products and services over the Internet. What does this really means? It means that all you have to do to earn money is to promote products and services of your OWN choice to others! Sounds easy right? (:
So, how do you go about doing it?
First, you have to identify a specific area that you are good at. You can start by examining your own hobbies and interests. Why so? Because by identifying an area that you're an expert or good at, you will know what kind of valuable information or what types of problems others might encounter and thus you will be able to provide such information or services to them! Also, at the same time, you will enjoy what you're doing and be motivated to do your online business! It's like killing two birds with 1 stone! Isn't that great? I think so!
Second, sign up for a trustworthy and reliable web hosting, domain name and auto-responder. These tools are essential for internet marketers. Without any of these tools, you will not be able to get started on the online business.
Third, search the net for more information on your area. If possible, look for some free e-books on your area so that you can use it as a free gift to attract potential subscribers.
Forth, design your website. Remember to include those free e-books which you found on the net and valuable information for your potential customers! However, do not flood your website with ALL the valuable information you have on hand! Otherwise, people would not subscribe to your website since they are able to get all the information they want just by reading your squeeze page. A squeeze page is just a page to get your customers' information.
Fifth, search the net for products or services that you can sell to your subscribers. Get an affiliate link from these merchants.
Last but not least, start sending your subscribers emails embedded with your affiliate link in it! Of course, you can't start promoting the products or services immediately after they sign up to be in your list. You have to build relationship with them and earn their trust first before you promote the products to them.
