After setting up your money making blog, your next step is to drive lots of traffic to it. You should avoid trying to drive just any traffic going to your site, you want to drive mostly targeted traffic. This is the type of traffic where those visitors could be actually interested in your blog and products that you have on your blog. They more than likely will be looking for what you are offering. That is the great thing about niche marketing, your visitors are looking for a product, they go to your blog and you simply give it to them. It is easy money when done right, and you are helping them get what they want at the same time.

One of the best ways to drive targeted traffic to your blog is to write articles and submit them to Ezinearticles, GoArticles, article-content-king.com, Articlesbase, and Ideamarketers. These article directories are what I consider the top 5, and most popular ones and will rank high on the search engines. If you write articles about the products that you are promoting on your blog, and you provide useful information and include your link to your blog in the resource box at the end of your articles, you will get targeted traffic to your blog. This should convert into sales and you will earn affiliate commissions.

Other methods of driving quality, targeted traffic to your blog is back link building, social networking, pinging your blog and paying for traffic using Pay-Per-Click advertising - this one can get expensive if you do not know what you are doing, but at least you get to control your budget and you get highly target traffic.

Offline advertising such as business cards, flyers, newspaper classified ads and the yellow pages directory are quite good offline techniques, but probably not as targeted as online article marketing and pay-per-click. It depends on the type of products you are offering.

The more targeted leads you can drive to your blog or website, means the more sales you will make. It is really as simple as that. It does take some time and effort to drive targeted leads but the rewards can be great.

So there you have it. The simple and effective methods of driving targeted traffic to your blog to market affiliate products, does not cost anything to set up and can earn you potentially unlimited income. Of Course your income will depend on how much targeted traffic you can drive to your blog and what products you are promoting. Consider promoting decent products that will really solve your visitors problems. Some people have a $20,000 per month business using blogs. They simply write about a product, redirect the targeted traffic to their blogs, which contains more information about that product, and if the traffic is really targeted, then, the sales will usually follow.
