In the current era of globalization and multinationalism of business, world became a global village where ignorance of a language a huge disadvantage. Everyone should be comfortable while talking with another person. Knowledge of at least one foreign language is the demand and need of rapidly changing time.

The German economy - the fifth largest economy in the world in PPP terms and Europe's largest. Some of the renowned German multinational industries like Allianz, Bayer, BMW, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, Lufthansa Group, Metallgesellschaft , Robert Bosch , Siemens , Thyssen Krupp , Volkswagen ,Westdeutsche Landesbank etc are major role player in world economy also, with there presence in all most 60% of the countries .The scope of German language also emerge.

German language-German is the third most taught foreign language in the English speaking world after French and Spanish. Originated from Indo-European language family, German language uses Latin scripts. It is one of the world's major languages and the most widely spoken in the European Union with more than 101 millions speakers and official language of 8 countries.

The Goethe-Institut { http://www.goethe.de/enindex.htm } (GI) (Goethe Institute in English) is a non-profit German cultural institution operational worldwide, promoting the study of the German language abroad and encouraging international cultural exchange and relations. The Goethe-Institute also fosters knowledge about Germany by providing information on German culture, society and politics.

The best way to learn any language is reading, reading and reading. German grammar and its gender system are different from English language. Due to shortage of no of vocabulary than English , a same word in German language can use in many meanings .German Newspapers{ http://www.presstitles.com--International/German Newspaper section}like Süddeutsche-Zeitung , Rheinische-Post , Berliner-Morgenpos , Frankfurter-Allgemeine-Zeitung help me a lot in learning German .It help me to learn new vocabulary and its uses and make me familiar with German gender system . "German Grammar Drills" by "Ed Swick" also helps me a lot. If you want to learn German Language by your own "Rosetta Stone Language Learning system" may also help you. Even though German Language uses Latin Scripts same as English except 5 letters ß and Germanic umlauts, pronunciation is different from English .Watching German movie help you to familiar with native German accent and their pronunciation process. Every month Goethe Institute arrange many events to promote German Language, participation in those event help you a lot .Even if you are not a student of Goethe Institute , you can enjoy this events.

Another useful website in this regard is http://dict.tu-chemnitz.de/ .It is online free translational web site, which gives very close meaning of German words in your language. Language can't be learn in one day or one month or in one year it's a ongoing process .Through learning language you are going learn not only the German language ,you are going learn Germanic culture ,German Society ,their values ,their traditions -preferences , politics, history ,.....many things.
