We find many obese people now days. It is becoming a fast growing health problem in the developed countries. We cannot define the age boundaries for this health issue as starting from the youngsters till the old people facing the same problem of being overweight. The excessive level of fat content with in the body causes the serious issue called "Obesity". Obese people can have innumerable dangerous consequences. The meaning of Obesity:

Obesity is the condition where the body accumulates surplus amount of fat content which would really causes the harmful effects upon health. The obesity can be diagnosed clinically based on the BMI (body mass index) level. If the BMI level surpasses 30kg/m2 are confirmed to be Obese.

The symptoms of Obesity:

Being a little bit overweight is not going to cause any problem but, once you lessen the care about yourself would lead you to the serious health issues of obesity. The symptoms have been divided into two according to the two stages. The immediate symptoms during the earlier stages would be breathlessness, Fatigue, difficulty in sleeping, snoring, joint pains and back pains, increased sweating.

If there is no proper treatment, it would increase the risk and lead to dangerous health problems such as high blood pressure, heart arrest, stroke, arteries blocking up because of the fatty deposits, gall bladder disease, arthritis and difficulty controlling diabetes, this could even cause breast cancer in women.

Its not only causing physical disorders. It is leading to serious psychological issues as well. The problems are having low self esteem, feeling isolated from the society, low confidence level and reduced mobility. These are the critical mental problems that affect the obese people.

The causes of being overweight:

Obesity is a gradual process and the catalysts of obesity are poor diet such as excessive intake of high cholesterol and deep oil fried food and lack of physical activity. These are all the main causes of being overweight. But, the experiments says, the hormonal imbalance or under active thyroids could also causes obesity which is rare case. Considering these recent decades, the obesity sufferers are dramatically increased due to the indulgent lifestyle and reduced physical activities. On top of everything, few kind of medications leads to become obese.

Treatments to get rid of Obesity:

Regular exercise and a balanced healthy diet such as high fiber, low fat and high complex carbohydrate diet would significantly help reducing your overweight. Fitness is more important to lead a healthy life and hence you should consider reducing your weight, if you gained excessive body weight. Apart from doing exercise, you should consult with your dietitian who will be able to prescribe the most suitable diet practice for you. But you should wait patiently to achieve the great result of your weight loss.
