Most people will agree that their mind is either their greatest asset...or their biggest liability! When your mind is extremely focused you can have the determination and will power to do endless things; to achieve happiness and success in abundant quantity. And yet when your mind is lacking in clear focus or vision, you can find yourself floundering and at a loss to know in which way to turn.

At other times you can find that your logical mind is clearly focused; you know exactly what you want, but you cannot convince yourself that your dreams will materialize. You are lacking in conviction because your emotions are telling you a different tale to that which your logical desires are craving. At such a time you know beyond a doubt what it feels like to be in two minds.

The quest to overcome those hidden emotions and tune out those distracting inner voices can take you on an endless emotional roller-coaster, particularly when you don't know where to get started. You want to get your emotions to align with your logical desires and yet it seems easier, and more instinctive, for your logic to give in to your emotions.

Where there is a conflict between your logical will power and your emotions, your emotions will be the victor. Thus whenever you want to gain some resemblance of control over your own mind, you will find that your emotions need to be addressed. What is required is to find a way in which to create a different emotion, to create a different feeling, whenever you are planning to take logical steps towards a goal.

It helps to involve your imagination in this process. As you begin to picture something in your mind's eye and to hear the sounds associated with it, you inevitably involve more of your senses; you begin to feel something different. Your imagination provides a doorway to your emotions, and the more vivid you make your visualizations, the more intense the emotional response will become. By seeing it, you begin to believe it, whatever it may be.

Hypnosis can lend a particularly helpful hand in this process. Hypnosis is a state of relaxation which allows you to access your subconscious mind where your habitual thoughts and beliefs are stored. Your subconscious mind is the part of your mind which acts instinctively and automatically; it is also the more creative part of your mind. In using hypnosis you will find it far easier to align your conscious and subconscious mind, your logic and your emotions and to add intensity and vividness to your visualizations. Hypnosis downloads help you to use your mind more productively and more wisely.
