It has long been known that Google loves websites that have large amounts of good content. Here we will focus on describing how to grow your website's page count while providing value to your visitors.

Tech pros spend a lot of time making the Web faster, easier and more efficient in ways most people don't even know about. In fact, even some fairly net-savvy folks don't know how web hosting affects SEO results. Factors of good hosting are another set of line items in your SEO, and there are some best practices to follow for optimal results.

Bloggers love to talk online to other bloggers. If you join blogging communities and make a worthwhile contribution you will see your traffic skyrocket. It's all about content - fast, useful and entertaining content that people enjoy reading.

Knowing the rules and regulations will help ensure that your posts are safe and are not deleted by the administrators of the forum. Remember not to go about spamming all members of the forum with your website advertisements.

I recently created a web site for my company which offers web design and logo design services. There are a gazillion companies offering that ok, well Google says 170 million but close enough! My chances of getting a top 10, or even to the top 50 are minimal, I have to rely on some more obscure keywords and other advertising methods to get anywhere.

Before you run screaming back into the dark ages, this is a good thing. For example, if you've shown an interest in fishing while our neighbor searches for musical instruments. When you search for "bass", the search engine will begin to return fishing results, while your neighbor who searches for the exact same term.

Basically the keyword analysis tells you, based off whatever root word you type in, what other key phrases come up based off that keyword along with a host of other data. While the data it provides is quite valuable to your SEO strategy it is outside the scope of this article and will be addressed later on. The best way to explain this is by an example which should help to solidify the information.

An interesting thing that I have learned, and this is really very helpful, is that giving yourself an expanded, slowed down, timetable for your website's SEO (like 1 year), will help you keep the proper perspective and maintain the patience you will need not to give up.

The only thing that works is to learn and apply the techniques that been previously discussed. Apply these methods every day for the rest of your life. Do not spend thousands of dollars buying "Guru" quick fix SEO packages to eventually learn 'the hard way' that they are all a lot of junk, a waste of your money and time and they do not work.

News sites probably won't be reporting on your website unless you are very popular, unless you are very controversial, or unless you issue a very good press release. We'll go into press releases another time, but for now just remember that if you really want to enter the big-leagues and get backlinks and mentions from major news outlets online, then you will need to tell them you are alive, and press releases are the way to do it.
