Do You Want a Government to Run Your Life?

It seems like more and more people are screaming that they want the government to solve their problems and more for them. If you ask me this is very dangerous to freedom not to mention your right to privacy. We need to limit government not add to it. When you add more and more you add more cost which ultimately means more taxes. Do you want to be taxed more? I for one do not. In fact I do not want anyone nosing into my legitimate activities at all. The more power that you give the more power that is exercised, plain and simple.

In my opinion many agencies could be eliminated. They are likely justifying their own existence with useless activities that do not add any value to any of us. All people who are governed should be very wary of who is doing the governing and to make sure that the activities are beneficial and productive. People elect and therefore should be in control of who is elected. It is up to us to make sure that we are governed fairly and with respect and that the real priority is maintained, that priority being the protection of our right under the constitution and protection from foreign invaders by any means. Everything else should be scrutinized very closely.

We should be taking charge of our financial lives, our personal lives, our roles in society, our children's education and our health. These things can be managed and made better by the people themselves. All that is needed is some general education that can be found everywhere. There is no excuse for ignorance at all.

We live in an information age never seen before. More than ever we as individuals need to take responsibility for our lives and not pass the buck to dangerous government entities.
