Want to know how to increase the fuel efficiency of your vehicle? Of course you do. This is one of those questions to which there's an obvious answer. But how many of you realize there's a brilliantly simple method of achieving better fuel consumption for a modest price?

The need for efficiency
Rising gasoline and diesel prices are creating a financial headache for all of us. If you use a car to get to work, the cost of your daily commute has soared. And if you're in business, the cost of fuel is damaging your bottom line. There's a need for greater fuel efficiency, and the media is full of tips on how you should do this. Drive more carefully, for example, and consider buying a different vehicle. But changing your driving style isn't easy, particularly if you travel to work in heavy traffic. And switching to another car means you have to find the money to pay for it.

An HHO generator
There is another way to increase fuel efficiency that's simple and inexpensive. You install an HHO generator in your vehicle. An HHO generator uses proven technology to boost fuel efficiency by as much as 50%. If we put this in terms of dollars, you'll see just how impressive this is. Imagine that your HHO generator saves you not 50% but a more conservative figure of 30%. And suppose you have a vehicle with a 20-gallon tank that does an average of 25 miles to the gallon. Normally, you'd expect to get 20 x 25 = 500 miles from each full tank of fuel. With an HHO generator, you increase this by 30%. That's 30% of 500 miles = 150 miles. In other words, with an HHO generator, you can run your vehicle for 650 miles per tank of fuel instead of 500. That's a significant increase in fuel efficiency.

How it works
An HHO generator fits into most vehicles, no matter how compact the engine space. H2O through a process of electrolysis breaks down to HHO, which is two hydrogen molecules and an oxygen pair. The generator injects these gases into your engine via the air intake. The hydrogen improves the combustion process, and the oxygen raises your fuel's octane levels. The result is that your engine makes far better use of your combusted fuel. I have seen many different systems of producing HHO they all use the same process of electrolysis and only vary in the design of the system. HHO can work on gas or diesel small, and large from car, RV, boat, or big truck. The guides I have mentioned are good and recommended. They are complete and easy to understand.

Can Water Burn? Truth or Myth
I started my career in the automotive business in the late sixties at a service station my father owned. I went on from there to be a mechanic first for an Oldsmobile dealer and than a Buick dealer. As always I worked for several years learning the basics and continually worked my way up.

For the last fifteen years at Buick I was working in the drive-ability and performance department adjusting and repairing vehicles for emissions and performance. GM started in 1980 putting computers in vehicles to improve emissions and performance, at that time the knowledge base for repairing problems was very limited and today has came a long way mostly from trial and error and a lot of factory training. Testing for vehicle emissions came about in my area in about the mid eighties and I have worked on hundreds of vehicles repairing or adjusting them to pass emission testing and yes sometimes I have run water through a engine to aid in cleaning the system out. You may be saying I have had water in my gas before and my vehicle would not run,and you are right the water has to be mixed wit the fuel in order for it to burn.

When I first came across all this HHO stuff I was a little skeptical about the whole thing myself, until I acquired a complete guide on how to build, install and maintain an HHO system. I started studying and found the guide I had to be easy to understand. It showed me how to build and implement a HHO system. I say system in order to clarify this: just putting HHO with your fuel will have a positive effect on the greenhouse gases coming out of your exhaust, and will show some increase in fuel mileage. And the higher burning temperatures achieved by HHO will eliminate the need for fuel additives. Like I said earlier to achieve maximum benefits you would have to be able to make adjustments to various sensors through your on board computer. Do not panic.
