Now that you have brought home that chic and elegant designer dog bed that you and your dog have been dreaming about for the last three months, where would you put it? If you do not have any idea yet or just entertaining the idea of putting it in the usual place, then it may be high time to relocate your dog to a different part of the house.

These ideas are also especially relevant if you are taking in a new puppy or have just moved into a new apartment or house. The placement of your dog’s corner will play an essential role in forming his social skills and habits. These are some of the best ideas where your dog can be at home.

The Family Room

The family room is where everyone gathers and talks and it is the best place to make interactions with the family pet. Placing your designer dog bed in the Family Room will make the puppy comfortable among a lot of people and help him become more independent and trusting with people of all ages. If you have a large house with a large household, the Family Room is ideal for your dog.

The Library

If you have a dog that definitely loves his couch potato moments, then a comfortable nook in the Library is a great spot to sleep. If your Library is an open part of the house where everybody can come and go, your dog will greatly appreciate the solace and quiet companionship you two can enjoy in the Library.

The Main Room

Everybody has a Main Room, whether it is a small pad or a mansion. The Main Room will showcase your dog and his designer dog bed to any visitor that might come, if your intention is to impress with a lovely dog and a great designer bed, the Main Room is an obvious choice.

As a contrast, please think twice before putting your dog in any of these areas in your house:

The Kitchen

The Kitchen will only irritate or worse, damage your dog’s sense of smell. All the aromas in the kitchen are torture to a sensitive nose. Plus, placing your dog in the kitchen will give more kitchen mishaps, tolerate and excitable dog, and perhaps lead to an overweight pet.

The Entertainment Center

The entertainment center, or any place close to your T.V. or speakers, is just bothersome for your pet’s sensitive hearing. If you want peace and quiet, then perhaps it is best to relocate your dog in a quieter corner.

Wherever you put your dog, always remember to put his best interests first. A good rest is important to any living being. With a good sleep, you will find your dog pet a more energetic and lively puppy.
