 Boxing, a daring game which is typically supervised by a referee engaged in during a series of one- to three-minute intervals called rounds and the boxers generally of similar weight. A boxing match typically revolves around a determined number of three-minute rounds. Total number of these rounds can be 12-15. Between two rounds, one minute is normally spent by the boxers with their coach and staff, in opposite corners receiving advice and attention from them.

According to boxing rules, a boxer is not allowed from hitting below the belt even holding, tripping, pushing, biting, spitting or wrestling. To procure, the boxer's shorts are raised so the opponent is prohibited to hit to restricted area. In case of violations of these rules, referee may rule "fouls". Referee can issue warnings, deduct points, or even disqualify an offending boxer, causing an automatic loss, depending on the seriousness and intentionality of the foul.
Boxing consist of four basic punches: Jab, which is a quick, straight punch thrown with the lead hand from the guard position. Cross is a very powerful straight hit thrown with the rear hand. Similarly, Hook is a half circle punch thrown with the lead hand to the side of the opponent's head. By holding the back knee bent in a classical boxing style, Uppercut is done.

A boxer is awarded a knockout usually when the other boxer is unable to stand stood from the canvas within a specified period of time, normal because of fatigue, serious injury or temporarily incapacitating, moreover a bleeding cut above the eye can blind a boxer, loss of balance, or unconsciousness that is, a boxer may literally be knocked out.

Women’s boxing is another interesting type of boxing. Which was First time appeared in the Olympic Games in 1904 later it was banned in most nations in 20th century. However if compared to typical and traditional men's boxing, it lacked popularity level and exposure. Nowadays, women's boxing is fan base and is growing with a lot of media exposure and interesting fights.

In past boxing was largely controlled by the Mob until Muhammad Ali appeared in the boxing arena. Although Muhammad Ali won the gold medal at the Rome Olympics in 1960 and on that time the experts did not think much of his magical boxing skills.

Boxing is not only a physical game, for a good boxer in practice is 95% physical and 5% mental. To make it happen. You have to concentrate on your game while keeping your mental strength in accordance with your physical game. Your mind concentration needs to stay in the moment, on the execution of your punches only. With a little concentration on your mental skills you can develop the reputation as a mentally tough boxer.
