Would it not be nice if  you were paid when you are done working?  Of course it would be nice to be paid after you are done working.  Well guess what, if you are paid with Federal Reserve Notes you are not being paid after you are done working.  You see if you break down the words "Federal Reserve Note" this is what you get.  Federal Reserve tells you who the note belongs to-the Federal Reserve bank.  Where as Note tells you that it is a promisary note the evidence of the debt of the people of the United States of America.  Therefore when you are paid with a promisary note you have note been paid.

Now you may say, but I still get goods and services for those promisary notes.  Yes only because of the words legal tender.  You know the only reason that anyone takes that piece of paper for payment is that they are legally bound to accept it.  At the same time this promisary note does not tell you who is going to pay you, what they are going to pay you in or even when you will be paid. So right there it is actually a promise to pay nothing.  So what happens when the issuer does not honor the debt.  Nothing you see if you are promised nothing you get nothing.  So when you tender paper you have not paid for your goods or services either because you can not pay a debt with a debt.  Think about it.
