After the release of ‘The Secret’, a 2006 film by Australian television writer and producer, Rhonda Byrne, the law of attraction became very popular.

What is ‘The Secret’ about?
‘The Secret’ is mainly about a book titled ‘The Secret’. This book contains the secret to everything - the secret to unlimited joy, health, money, relationships, love, and youth: everything you have ever wanted. And for the first time in history, the world’s leading scientists, authors, and philosophers, e.g., Plato, Newton, Einstein, Beethoven and Bob Proctor, will unveil the secret, which completely transformed the lives of everyone who ever knew it, in the movie ‘The Secret’.

What is the law of attraction about?
Basically, the law of attraction is about this: Everything that is happening to you and around you revolves around the law of attraction. What you think, fear, hope or dream about, it will be attracted to you. The more you hope for something, e.g., not getting into a debt, the higher the chances of it happening to you. Think of the good things that will happen to you, it will happen. Troubling yourself with the bad things that might be happening to you or what you do not desire is of no use as they will still befall on you.

Many employers, who believe in the law of attraction, frequently play the movie ‘The Secret’ for their new employees to watch when they first join the company so that they can apply the law of attraction to succeed in their career and life. I was first shown the movie by a multi-level marketing company (MLM) when it was trying to recruit me in 2006. As it turned out, I didn’t join the company as I didn’t like the way MLM companies operate. The next time I got into direct contact with ‘The Secret’ again was when I joined the insurance company I’m working at now.

Over the years, the number of people who have watched ‘The Secret’ has increased to millions. Furthermore, desiring to become successful, millions of people started applying the law of attraction into their lives. They started believing that good things will happen to them. They started believing that their dreams will come true. They wished desperately for joy, health, money, relationships, love and youth. Among these people, I was not excluded.

However, did you realize that no matter how much we use the law of attraction, we just aren’t getting the results we wanted? Did you realize that the financial economic crisis still occurred, and resulted in the retrenchment of many? Do you feel like you’re still in debt and aren’t moving victoriously towards the kind of life you feel you deserved? I definitely felt this way.

Now the question is: Is ‘The Secret’ and The Law of Attraction just a bluff?

The answer, is no. ‘The Secret’ isn’t a bluff. The truth is The Law of Attraction is just incomplete. The philosopher, Bob Proctor, who was among the few successful figures featured in ‘The Secret’ and the best-selling author of You Were Born Rich, has actually discovered that there were 11 other laws which are essential to unleash the full potential of The Law of Attraction. Without knowing the 11 other laws, The Law of Attraction can only work at a pathetic 8% of its immense full potential.

The 11 other laws consist of, the law of forgiveness, the law of obedience, the law of sacrifice, just to name a few.
