How To Use Twitter In Your Article Marketing
Author: Dan Blackburn | Filed under: Authors InterestHere’s a “set and forget” way you can use Twitter to drive traffic to your articles published on Article Content King. The more traffic your articles receive, the more credits you have and the more credits you have the more money you make. It’s all part of the revenue sharing system
Take 2 minutes to set this up and have every article we publish of yours, automatically added to your Twitter feed.
Even with as few followers as I have (fewer than 40 yesterday) we still get some traffic to your articles from the “lastest articles” feed which I post to my Twitter feed. If you Tweet your author feed, you are guaranteed to get some traffic. Plus, you will be able to tell all your friends about the fabulous article you have just has approved at article content king and ask them to vote on it.
Here is what to do.
First you need to find your author feed. The can be easily located in any of the article you have already had published on the site. This link can be found in all your articles, under your name at the top.

Article Content King Author Feed
Your author feed looks something like this.
http://article-content-king.com/articlerss.php?type=5&article_user_id=YOURUSERID
Your USER ID is NOT the same as your affiliate ID.
When you have your feed URL, you can either use it “as is” or burn a better feed at FeedBurner. Feedburner offer some cool ways for you to track, syndicate, promote and mometize your feed. It’s completely free to use and takes just a few minutes to set up. To burn your feed at feedburner, just paste it into the box there and click BURN then follow the on screen instructions.
When you have created your feedburner feed, make sure you look though all the options you have available to track, promote and monetize your feed. The cool features are there for you, but you have to turn them on. Features like PingShot which will ping your feed automatically when it is updated.
When you have your feed ready, whether it be a feedburner feed OR the original feed from article content king. Head over to PingVine and fill in the simple form with your Twitter ID / Password and URL and click submit.
That’s it! Now when ever we approve one of your articles at article-content-king it will be automatically added to your feed for all your followers to see and vote on.
A word or warning about autoposting tools. They are really cool I think, as long as you don’t set the same content to be automatically posted by different tools. Looking though twitter, you will find some really bad examples of people using autoposting tools like Pingvine. People who have things set up to ping the same content 10 times or more in succession. This makes them, and autoposting tools like PingVine look bad.
After you have set this system up, it’s done and you are getting the most benefit you can out of it. If you autopost your feed to twitter using another service, you will REDUCE the benefit you receive.
This really is set and forget. Do the work once and get traffic forever.
