New Submission Rules Coming Soon

Author: Dan Blackburn | Filed under: Authors Interest

Many authors have complained about only being able to submit 2 articles at a time. We have listened and  have decided to change this rule and allow authors to submit more than 2 articles per day under certain conditions.

The reason why we restrict authors to submitting 2 articles per day is due to our stringent moderation process. It is advantageous to everyone to get your articles published quickly and 2 articles per day from each author is about all we can handle right now. Anymore than that and the backlog of articles grows every day and it only takes a couple of days before authors have to wait over a week for their articles to be approved. This would be unacceptable, the 2 per day limit controls it.

Even though members can earn additional credits for moderating articles themselves and quickly reach the 1000 credit limit required to display their own ads on the site by doing so, the task has not been a popular one.

Introducing the moderation system has increased income from the site 10 fold at least, so we are not going to scrap moderation. What we are going to do is allow you to submit more articles if you moderate some.

When you earn your “Bronze Crown” by having 5 articles approved on the site, you will be able to earn 1 additional submission credit for every 3 articles you moderate. This system will ensure that articles do not experience a delay in being published because we are accepting more articles than we can approve every day.

The updates are being coded as I write this and should be integrated into the site early next week.
