Trojan viruses have gone through several stages of development before achieving the current state of perfection. Modern Trojans, unlike their predecessors years ago, are able to exploit security vulnerabilities in Windows operating system and installed software. Bugs in security software, ubiquity of unsafe browsers and email clients, outdated detection algorithms in antivirus programs allow viruses to creep into seemingly well-protected computers.

Somewhere along the line, many of us developed a mental image of our future and how things are suppose to work out. We would go to school, get a good job, work until our hair turned grey then retire. It seemed simple and natural.
