Hi Miz Helena,
Very informative article. I find that if I don’t focus on the importance of exercise to my over all physical health, I just wind up letting it pass. It has always been a struggle to get exercise fit in my schedule, but I seem to be able to do it most of the time. As I am diabetic, it is very important to me. I look forward to more from you!

Hi and thx so much Randy for your comment… i agree fitting exercise into our busy schedules can be difficult.. but making the time for it is vitally important esp as we grow older.. i for one was dreading the winter setting in and was trying hard to stay motivated when recently, a couple of my neighbours across the street asked me to join them on their nightly walks just when the weather was getting colder and all you ever wanna seem to do is cozy up.. i accepted straight away and thought this was a brilliant way to “multitask” as i mentioned in my article.. here i am out there exercising and socialising at the same time.. now come 7.30pm every evening we cant wait to get together and catch up and get the blood pumping at the same time..!! Just brill!! .. it really puts the fun back into it.. I hope you do keep your motivation up Randy!! isnt it just the best feeling coming back from a long walk and you feel the tingles all over??.. the feeling sure does become addictive ..
My gf is also a diabetic.. she has managed to come down from injecting herself up to 3 times a day to just controlling it by diet after losing so much weight.. that was a great moment for her!!
warm regards,

Hi and thank you FYI,
Thx so much for your comment.. yes thats a very common excuse.. the time factor.. and although it can sometimes be hard to find the time due to work and family commitments.. i believe with a lil planning and motivation we can all find the time to stay on track with our fitness.. there are countless ways to incorporate exercising into our lives and to make it a fun activity instead of making out its a chore and something we ‘have’ to do.. instead it should be because we want to do it.. exercising with family or friends is a wonderful way to stay commited and spend quality time sharing the fun together.. I wish you all the very best FYI
warm regards,
Miz Helena
